Mile Square Health Center
Mile Square Health Center is a Federally Qualified Health Center affiliated with the University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center. It is managed and staffed by health professionals from the University of Illinois, and has a Board of Directors, 51% of whom are residents of the Near West Side of Chicago.
Mile Square offers a comprehensive array of Medical Care and Social Services which includes Geriatrics, Family Practice, Obstetrics and Gynecology Care, Family Planning, Pediatric Dental and Mental Health, Podiatry, and Nutritional Services and a Specialty Clinic dedicated to sexually transmitted diseases. Medical services are provided on a sliding fee scale for patients who possess limited or no medical insurance. Patients are seen regardless to their ability to pay.
