Illinois Society of Professional Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers
Since the 1920s, the Department of Agricultural and Consumer Economics (ACE) has worked with the Illinois Society of Professional Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers. A staff member serves as secretary-treasurer, and there is a partnership arrangement for administrative support for the society. Illinois has the largest professional farm management industry in the United States, with about 400 active professional managers and rural appraisers.
