In October 2001, the City Design Center at the College of Architecture and the Arts, University of Ilinois at Chicago, will publish the first internet catalog of exemplary affordable housing design built in the United States in the last twenty years:

"Design Matters: Best Practices in Affordable Housing."

We invite you to a national forum to launch the catalog:

The "Design Matters Symposium" on October 22 and 23, 2001 in Chicago.

This symposium will be registered with the AIA Continuing Educational System.

Join us in acknowledging and sharing the dedicated work of affordable housing producers from across the United States - work that all too often goes unrecognized.
