Catering Company Feasibility Study
Spring 2000
To increase commercial development and create employment opportunities,
TRP sought to determine the feasibility of its becoming a business owner
in the Pilsen community. At TRPs request, the City Design Center
conducted a business and marketing study to evaluate the feasibility of
developing a catering company.
Susan Petti, TRPs Supportive Housing Associate noted with appreciation:
We had an idea to create a small catering business with the women
in our program who love to cook; but it was only an idea. Jackie, the
research assistant, helped us frame the project and take the first steps
to make it a reality.
