Near West Side Community Directory
Fall 1997
The West Side Consortium, a coalition of 23 organizations and institutions
on Chicago’s Near West Side, wanted to create a community directory
of its members and their services. The objective was to inform all its
members and Near West Side residents of the types of assistance they could
find in their own community. The City Design Center interviewed representatives
of the consortium member organizations and prepared a description of their
activities and services for the planned resource directory.
