In the last several years, painting has increasingly broken free of shared criteria. Interested Painting presents a selection of painters whose work prioritizes the imagination of the individual artist rather than a shared structure or clear subject matter.

The exhibition will include works by Gillian Carnegie, Maureen Cavanaugh, Nigel Cooke, Holly Coulis, Verne Dawson, Duncan Hannah, Merlin James, James Sheehan and Rezi van Lankveld and is curated by painters William Staples and Andreas Fischer.
