Jink’s On Sundrun, uses the quintessentially English game of cricket to explore postcolonialism, ritual and memory. The exhibition will include sculpture, film, location sound recordings of cricket matches, and a performance in the gallery space. Jinks explores cricket as an enactment of the mythology of cultural identity and the effects of transposition and assimilation.
