Sheila Pinkel is an Associate Professor of Art at Pomona College and an international editor of Leonardo, the publication devoted to the intersection of art, science and technology. For the last twenty five years her work has focused on her love of nature and her concern about its destruction. In this lecture Pinkel will clarify the place of the spiritual and poetic in her documentary art-making practice.
