| Jennifer Pastor Jennifer Pastor's sculptures are large in scope, materially complex, and highly involved hybrids that employ an idiosyncratic and economic visual language. Her projects strategically investigate parallel and elastic structures in seemingly disparate subjects that have been intensively researched. Pastor received her BFA from the School of Visual Arts, NY and then acquired an MFA from UCLA in 1992. Her work has been featured in solo exhibitions at the Whitney Museum of American Art, NY; Regen Projects, LA; and The Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago. In addition, she has been included in group exhibitions at such venues as the 2003 Venice Biennale, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and Barbara Gladstone Gallery, NY. She is currently an associate professor of visual arts at the University of California at San Diego.
