Gallery 400 is a not-for-profit art exhibition space at the University of Illinois at Chicago. The gallery is located at 400 South Peoria Street (Peoria at Van Buren). During its exhibitions, Gallery 400 is open to the public Tuesday through Friday 10-6, and Saturday 12-6 and is available to rent for events during its off hours. Gallery 400 consists of a 2,400 sq. ft. main gallery area. The Gallery also has a small kitchen area with a sink and refrigerator. Gallery 400 can be rented for events for a 3 hour minimum with a one hour set-up time or 5 hour minimum with a two hour set-up time. Premises must be vacated and cleaning complete one hour after the scheduled finish time of the event. If the premises are not vacated within an hour after the finish time the renter will be charged for extended hours.
