1. Room is a large square which enables residents to be seated in a wide range of positions depending on the activity. Proper seating (face to face, circular, small groups, etc…) can have a significant impact on participation and communication.
2. Samples of crafts and assorted activities are hung on the wall to increase interest and give a final product exhibition.
3. Natural lighting is a plentiful, but glare is kept to a minimum, resulting in increased attention span and concentration during activities.
4. Using a high gloss paint finish is not recommended as it will reflect too much light. A matte or semi-gloss finish is more suitable.
