The department offices are located in 2303, University Hall, the tall building at the southeast corner of Harrison and Morgan streets.
By Car
From the north, take the Kennedy Expressway to the Eisenhower Expressway westbound and keep to the right; take the first exit from the Eisenhower Expressway, which is Morgan Street; then take Morgan Street south one block to the campus. From the south, take the Dan Ryan Expressway and exit on Roosevelt Road (1200 south); go west on Roosevelt Road to Halsted Street; then go north on Halsted Street to the campus. From the west, take the Eisenhower Expressway to the Racine Avenue exit; then go south to Harrison Street and east to the campus. From the east, take Harrison Street or Roosevelt Road; if you take Roosevelt Road, go west to Halsted Street and turn north to the campus.
Parking Lot
The closest parking lot to the accounting department is Lot 9, 501 South Morgan Street, whose entrance is on South Morgan Street about 100 feet north of Harrison street.
By Elevated Subway Train
The campus is served by what is known as the Halsted/University of Illinois stop on the Blue Line. You can take either the Forest Park or the 54 th/Cermak line to the university stop. If you need more information about Chicago Transit Authority trains or buses, call the Regional Transit Authority Travel Information Department at 836-7000.
By Commuter Train
Burlington Northern Penn Central, Milwaukee Road, and some of the Illinois Central Gulf trains arrive at Union Station, which is one mile north and east of the University. North Western trains arrive at the Ogilvie Station, two blocks north of Union Station. From Union Station, University Hall is a pleasant 17 minute walk in normal Chicago weather. Follow any south and west cross street path and look for University Hall, the tall building. University Hall is a $7.00 cab ride from Union Station.
