UIC Accounting Spring Banquet

The 36th Annual UIC Accounting Spring Banquet was held on Thursday, April 17, 2008 at the Chicago Cultural Center

The event was the highlight of the UIC Accounting Department's academic year.
Over 210 UIC students, faculty, alumni, and firm representatives attended the ceremonies.

  The keynote speaker was Steve Smart,   Director of National Accountns for   Meguiar's Inc. the leader in Automotive   Appearance products, who is also   1985 graduate in business   management from UIC.
  Twenty students received scholarships   and awards. Professor Brian Leventhal   was honored as Accounting Educator      of the year 2008.
