Young Alumni Network's Alumni Advisory Forum

The Business Alumni Association's Young Alumni Advisory Forum features CBA alumni who are leaders in their field. At each event, several alumni from different sectors of the business community will share their experiences, insights, and advice with CBA alumni and students.

The focus of the BAA's third advisory forum is Career Advancement. Essential tools and techniques for Career Advancement will be discussed, including the power of networking, critical skills development, business etiquette, and creating effective client relationships.

The Distinguished Panelists Are:

  • Ms. Susan Klaus (B.S '95), Human Resource Business Partner at Golub Capital.
  • Ms. Lauren Mitrick (B.A '05), Realtor at Jameson Sotheby's International Realty and Immediate Past President of The Women's Council of Realtors.

Moderator: Dr. Peter Thompson (Phd. '03), Professor of Managerial Studies

The forum is a unique opportunity for UIC alumni and students to gain actionable knowledge to apply in their own careers and recruitment efforts. Our panelists are experienced business leaders with a wealth of information that they're eager to share with the CBA alumni community.
