Brilliant Futures: the Campaign for the University of Illinois
Brilliant Futures is the largest and most ambitious campaign in the history of the University of Illinois. The Campaign, which is expected to run through December 31, 2011, aims to raise $2.25 billion for students, faculty, research and the campus environment. For its part, UIC hopes to raise $650 million in support of projects, programs and initiatives related to its top priorities of knowledge, scholarships, student experience, healthy society and Great Cities.
The College of Business Administration will play an active role in the campaign as it seeks to raise $34 million in an effort to better serve its students, faculty and community. Specifically, CBA seeks your support to create endowments for faculty chairs, professorships, fellowships and scholarships supporting the college's recruitment of excellent educators, researchers and especially a high-achieving and diverse student body. The Douglas Hall renovation project is another critical effort that will provide, upon completion, a geographic center for the CBA and Liautaud Graduate School of Business, technologically enhanced classrooms and space for student, alumni and faculty community activities.
In order to face the challenges inherent to the competitive world of business education, CBA increasingly welcomes support from alumni and friends while striving to reach these campaign goals. Contribute before January 1, 2012 and help create a brilliant future for UIC's College of Business Administration.
