Mary Beth Watson-Manheim is an Associate Professor of Information Systems in the Information Decision Sciences Department. She previously held an appointment in the Warrington College of Business, University of Florida. Her Ph.D. degree is in Information Technology Management from Georgia Tech. Before pursuing her Ph.D., Dr. Watson-Manheim was employed for 10 years in the telecommunications industry.

Her research interests include: impact of information and communication technologies on work; managerial, social, and technological implications of virtual work environments; IT-enabled organizational change. Her research has been published in Journal of Management Information Systems, IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man and Cybernetics, Information Resources Management Journal, Information Technology and People, Group Decision and Negotiation, e-Services Quarterly, Information Systems and Engineering, and a number of leading Information Systems conferences.
