Managerial Communications

An essential component of the CBA curriculum is coursework in Managerial Communications. Through discussions, analysis, case studies, informational interviews, exercises, and presentations, students develop the writing and oral skills required for effective business communication. Additionally, they learn that projecting a professional image is an important factor in how their messages will be received.

BA 200 (Managerial Communications) is a three-credit-hour course required of all CBA students. Class size is generally fewer than 30 students and evening sections are offered each semester for the convenience of those who need a night class.

For additional information about Managerial Communications classes, please contact Dr. Jie Wang at (312) 413-4433 or jiewang@uic.edu. Class registration inquiries should be directed to the Managerial Studies office (2229 UH) at 312-996-2680.
