Managerial Studies
The Department of Managerial Studies is one of the largest and most diverse departments in the College of Business Administration, offering three undergraduate majors (Entrepreneurship, Management, and Marketing) that lead to Bachelor degrees, as well as several MBA concentrations and PhD programs in Human Resource Management and Marketing. The curriculum delivered by the Managerial Studies Department includes specialized courses in the three undergraduate majors, core courses for CBA students, and master’s and PhD level courses.

Thirty full-time Managerial Studies faculty members teach and conduct research across a broad spectrum of topics. Their cutting-edge research is regularly published in leading academic and practitioner journals and many have received awards for their teaching. CBA Managerial Studies students benefit not only from the influence and guidance of this award-winning faculty, they also have ready access to real-word experiences resulting from the CBA's engagement with Chicago's business community. As some of the top employers in the city, our distinguished alumni continue to contribute to the college by participating in classes and student organizations and by serving on the college's business advisory council.
