Research

The ICFD recently spearheaded the following research initiatives :


  • Co-sponsor and co-organizer of the 2007 International Symposium on Financial Engineering and Risk Management that was held June 11-12, 2007 in Beijing, China.

  • Co-hosted (with the finance department) Yongchang Feng from Peking University who conducted research on China markets.

  • Co-hosted (with the finance department) Zhongyang Chen, a visiting scholar from Renmin University, China.

  • Have four finance professors currently working on research in futures and derivatives.

  • Signed memorandums of understanding with Peking University as well as Renmin University. Each memorandum includes research collaboration initiatives to further students' knowledge of futures and derivatives.
