Concept2Venture is a business plan competition that aims to stimulate and nourish the entrepreneurial spirit in UIC students
campuswide and seeks to encourage entrepreneurially oriented students to develop and grow new ventures based either on their own ideas
and technologies or those developed by faculty, members and alumni. Launched in 2005, C2V showcases the wealth of resources that UIC has from its many colleges and schools and the Chicago business community.
Under the direction of Professor Rod Shrader, C2V is organized through the College of Business Administration, UIC Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies, and the Liautaud Graduate School of Business, in collaboration with the UIC Office of Technology Management.
