Hall of Fame Evaluation Process

Please download the UIC Chicago Area Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame Nomination Form. Complete Nominations must be submitted to the UIC Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies by November 15, 2011.

The nomination evaluation for induction is a multi-step process, with the final decision being made in early December.

UIC Faculty and the Executive Director of the Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies will initially review the submitted nomination packets to identify those which exemplify entrepreneurial spirit.

In the next step, representatives from the Hall of Fame sponsors committee will make on-site visits to interview the candidate in person. Each candidate will be interviewed by two different committee members.

Lastly, in late November, the Panel of Judges will convene to make the final approval of nominations. The selected nominees will then be notified of their induction.

The 2012 UIC Chicago Area Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame Awards Gala and Induction Ceremony will take place on March 15, 2012 at the Chicago Hilton and Towers Hotel.
