From its humble beginnings in 1981, the UIC Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies has developed into a leading teaching and research center for entrepreneurship. Thanks to the generous support of the Coleman Foundation, IES has grown into a nationally-acclaimed, top-ranked program.
We pride ourselves on the quality of our overall program, which has been recognized by a number of prestigious institutions. Some of the recent awards and honors that have been bestowed upon IES include:
UIC's College of Business Administration is a research-based institution located in the heart of Chicago that cultivates a spirit of entrepreneurship through real-world experience. The college is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business and offers both undergraduate and graduate programs.
