The entrepreneurial spirit in the Chicago region is alive and well. For the 27th year we are on a quest for the best
entrepreneurs in the Chicago area. A panel of distinguished judges will make the selections. The UIC Chicago Area
Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame is sponsored by Allscripts, American Chartered Bank, Crain's Chicago Business,
Market M, Grant Thornton and the University of Illinois at Chicago.
We are now accepting nominations for the 27th annual UIC Chicago Area Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame
Awards. Please download the UIC Chicago Area Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame Nomination Form.
Applications must be submitted by November 15, 2011.
For Information about the Nomination Process please Click Here.
Induction into the Hall of Fame may be for past or present entrepreneurial achievements by a founder or founders,
through acquisitions or in a family business. The company (or companies) may be privately held or have been taken
public by the nominee. Special consideration will be given to founding a business, coping with past and/or present
growth in sales, employment generation, innovation, customer and employee relations and/or contributions to an
industry, the community and society. It is expected that a nominee`s business is profitable, and while not a formal
requirement, it is rare that a successful nominee has revenues of under $5 million.
