Guaranteed Admission to Master of Science in Accounting
UIC undergraduates may apply for guaranteed admission to the Master of Science in Accounting program under GAMSA if the following criteria are met:
UIC undergraduate Accounting majors:
- 90 hours overall and 12 hours in accounting courses at the 300 or 400 level
- Overall GPA of 3.00/4.00 and have a GPA of 3.00/4.00 in 300 and 400 level accounting courses
Other UIC undergraduates:
- Completed 90 hours overall and,
- Overall GPA of 3.25/4.00 and have a GPA of 3.25/4.00 in undergraduate major
UIC alumni may apply for GAMSA for up to one year after graduation. All majors are welcome to apply through GAMSA.

In order to be considered for admission, please submit the following application materials to the LGSB Programs Office:
- GAMSA form
- Application
- Application fee
- Personal statement
- Resume
- GMAT score of 500 or better
