Why did you return to school to obtain your MBA?
To accelerate my advancement within my company.
What were the most important factors for you when choosing an MBA program?
Cost - As a successful working professional I don't need to sacrifice my life savings for a major career jump, as I am already on the path to success. I needed an education that provided me with the tools to continue my advancement while not setting me back more years financially than an MBA would financially allow me.
What impact has the UIC Liautaud MBA had on you?
The UIC Liautaud MBA has given me new opportunities with my peers and my career as well as the confidence and the education to succeed in these new roles.
Which course or professor has been your favorite thus far and why?
Professor Albert Page as he offered real world advice with the theory to support it in a setting that allowed you to truly innovate and expand your knowledge base on your own.
What is your favorite aspect of the UIC Liautaud MBA or the Liautaud Graduate School of Business?
The student body and their desire to push themselves beyond their current realm of knowledge and experience.
How would you define the Liautaud student?
A self-motivated individual who understands the real world and what it takes to be successful.

Where driven individuals find the tools for success.
What advice would you provide to incoming UIC Liautaud MBA students?
Listen to your peers in class as they offer real world knowledge and experience that truly contributes to your education.
The UIC Liautaud MBA professors are continuously involved in researching new business trends and innovations. How have you felt the professors have been able to integrate their theoretical knowledge into practical applications?
Professor Jelena Spanjol looks to individuals with relevant experience to lead different cases throughout the semester to guide the class through ideas and processes for resolving case work.
