Transfer Admission Requirements

The College of Business Administration reserves the right to adjust admissions criteria based on space availability in the college.

The following guidelines list the minimum requirements to be considered for admission to the CBA:

At the time of application* a student must have completed a minimum of 24 semester hours (36 quarter hours) of credit with at least a 2.5 gpa (4-point scale).

At the time of enrollment* a student must have completed a minimum of 36 semester hours of credit with at least a 2.5 gpa (4-point scale).

*It is recommended that students complete their required English Composition courses, Finite Math, and either Business Calculus or Calculus I with minimum grades of C by the time of enrollment at UIC.
