Scholarships

The College of Business Administration awards more than $500,000 in scholarships to its students each year. The following scholarships are awarded to incoming freshmen or transfer students based on the predetermined criteria listed.

NO SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION is required for these scholarships. Eligible students will be notified by the College of their eligibility upon submission of all admission and financial aid documentation.

Freshmen

Future Business Innovators ($20,000)

  • Renewable, awarded over four-years
  • Fifteen (15) awardees each fall
  • Graduate of a Chicago Public High School
  • 24+ ACT composite, top 10% of high school graduating class
  • Demonstrate financial need (FAFSA required)
  • Illinois resident

FMC Technologies, Inc. Award of Excellence ($1,000)

  • One-year, non-renewable
  • Four (4) awardees each fall
  • Outstanding scholarship
  • Promise of continued scholarly achievement in the College of Business Administration

Dorothy L. Huck Memorial Scholarship ($3,500)

  • Renewable
  • Three (3) awardees each fall
  • Must be graduate of Roger C. Sullivan High School, Chicago, IL
  • Demonstrated academic excellence and leadership

Transfer

Future Business Innovators ($10,000)

  • Renewable, awarded over two-years
  • Five (5) awardees each fall
  • Must complete a minimum of 36 semester hours of transfer credit from a City College of Chicago
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative transfer GPA
  • Completion of all College of Business minimum transfer course requirements: English I and II, Finite Mathematics, and Calculus I (or Business Calculus) prior to enrollment
  • Admitted for a fall semester start
  • Demonstrate financial need (FAFSA required)
  • Illinois resident

 

Scholarships for continuing students are also available upon completion of a minimum of one semester within the College of Business Administration. Eligibility requirements vary by scholarship and range in amount of award. A scholarship application is required. The application process begins early in the spring semester each year.
