Nowadays it is easy to build and maintain a personal website using free software and services available to you through UIC.  You can use other resources if you have them, but otherwise we recommend that you build your website using Nvu, open source website creation software, and then post your site on the UIC Webdisk system, available to you through Blackboard.   Download an NVu basics guide and all the instructions are on the Word document below:
