Class Rules

Rules

  1. No homework solutions provided on this page can be printed.  Students should consider the homework solutions a database that can be used to check homework not work homework.
  2. Students are encouraged to collaborate in the acquisition of skills necessary to acquire information from this page. However, no collaboration is allowed to complete any graded assignment.
  3. All assignments to be handed in, must be turned in electronically. This means that if you do not have an e-mail account on the university system, you must take the steps necessary to acquire that account prior to the first assignment due date. Except in limited circumstances, only electronic copies of assignments will be accepted for credit.
  4. Electronic Assignments should be saved as Word documents for either the Mac or Windows environment. If you are a Wordperfect or other word processor user, the file should be saved as a ".doc" file.
  5. Students should make the most of the information technology skills they acquire. Acquiring information relevant to classroom discussion from sources other than this page is encouraged.
  6. Remember, learning is a life time activity. The successful accountant is one who continues to acquire additional skills throughout his or her career. Think of using technology as a means of opening opportunities.  The glass can be thought of as half full or half empty.  The successful professional sees it as half full.
