AD325 ASSIGNMENT 5: FINAL

Design one of the following products, using Design Visualization methods from ideation to presentation. Your design must include complex curved surfaces. Principles of Universal Design should be followed.

• Flatware Set
• Kitchen Tool

Turn in a printed project description and thumbnail sketches of proposed design. Print out will include:

• Design Criteria/Problem Definition: user, use environment, cost, materials, product life etc.
• Time line: Itemize the project tasks and when you expect to have them completed.
• Presentation outline. Components of the presentation which should included:
• electronic slide show of project (and optional printed project booklet) of:
• wire frame or constuction images of the model
• rendered images
• dynamic sequences (pseudo animation)
• design iterations
• dimensioned drawings
• optional animated fly through and/or interactive VRML model

Note: presentations should be self explanatory with text descriptions (call outs, captions, notes, etc.) Save on disk. Due 15b (Final Critique).
