SCANNER PROCEDURE

The scanner is connected to DVL3. Make sure power is on (switch on lower left corner)

1. Open the Sharp Image Lite Group in Windows on the DVL3.
2. Launch Image Lite.
3. Pick Scanner from list (only one)
   • Menu > Image Select > Select
4. > Image Aquire
   • Whole scanner bed appears in new window
   • Menu > Controls > Resolution (72dpi)
     resolution effects file size - use higher resolution for small images that will be scaled larger.
5. > Scan > Setup
   • Scan type - 24 bit color
   • Preview type - gray
   • Source type - Reflective
   • Preferences - pick file
6. > Scan > Preview
7. Resize using mouse - pull corners to match image area
8. > Scan > Scan
9. File > Save
