Thomas Barrow Robert Heinecken Robert Rauschenberg Ann Turyn Andy Warhol See the work of these photographers and many others at Lightsource—History of Photography Lightsource, housed at the University of Illinois at Urbana, is an image database of 20th Century fine art photography. The database currently houses approximately 600 images representing the work of about 60 photographers. It is hoped that this repository will eventually grow to 2000 images and over 150 photographers. The images are indexed alphabetically by photographer, and also organized into six genres that represent significant forms of 20th Century practice: documentary, landscape, figure, postmodern, text, and fabricated imagery. http://www.art.uiuc.edu/lightsource/ |
