OUTLINE OF FUTURE HOMEWORK

HW6.  Rewrite your MATLAB script to analyze a 2D frame with FF members. Each joint will have in-plane rotation and 2 components of translation. Preserve the functionality of your earlier scripts. All loads are applied to joints. At the end, display Q, F and a visualization of results. Graduate students allow for realeases to model FF, FP, PF and PP members.

HW7.  Add preprocessing to HW6 Script to recognize transverse concentrated loads and full length uniform loads applied to members between the joints and transform them to loads at the joints for analysis.   Graduate students also include partial length uniform loads (see Wiesinger) and releases.

HW8.  Write a MATLAB script for analysis of meshes using constant strain triangles to model 2D plates with 2D in-plane translation of.

HW9?  Write a MATLAB script for analysis of structures of 2D plates with 3D translation of nodes.
