COMM200: Communication Technology
Fall 2001
Making Sense
of September 11, 2001

On September 11, 2001, a tragedy of enormous proportion changed our lives.
As a result, the students and I decided to alter the course to focus on
the events surrounding the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center.
Student teams conducted extensive research to address
the following questions:
-
How was communication technology
involved in the tragedy of September 11th and subsequent events?
-
In what ways does communication
technology influence the way we see, comprehend, and remember these
current events?
Eleven teams, eleven unique approaches to these
questions.
Each link to the left will take you to a different
team's page. All pages were made by students with no prior web design
experience.
