Archiving Archiving is the storage of information. There are different types of archiving that can be done to store this information. With regards to September 11, there have already been numerous archives formed in order to document the details of the tragedy and the events that have followed. Digital archives are being used for the September 11 events. Digital archives are unique in that the information can be collected and documented from a site that is different from the site of the event.
