Remembering September 11, 2001

The different type of human memory devices used and the ways in which information is archived affects the way in which the details about an event are remembered and recalled.

After the events of September 11, the members of our communications class formed teams of experts on different aspects of communication technology relating to September 11.  These teams of experts then taught the rest of the class about their areas of expertise ultimately helping us all make sense of the events that occurred on September 11 as well as the days following.

It is through our classmates’ different explanations that we were able to start putting together all of the details and information and begin to understand what happened on September 11 and what the effects of that event will have on the rest of our lives.
