To be presented:

    Dental imaging
         The recent rapid advances in computer technology, capture methodology and display devices have revolutionized the field of radiology and imaging in dentistry.   

Imaging technology is an important component of the new technology and thus the following aspects of imaging will be discussed:  

1.  Basic computer graphics concepts.  

2.  Use of the intra-oral wand and extra-oral camera and other input devices.

3.  Use of pre and post-imaging software (cosmetic imaging).  (Future lectures)

4.  Using digital x-rays.  (Future lectures)
