Camera is placed several inches from the patient. No sterilization is required.  Wand is placed into the mouth providing a complete view of any area of the oral cavity on the monitor. Barrier covering is required.
USB or smart card transfer of images to computer. Transfer of images directly or wirelessly to patient file in computer-Faster.
Better graphics if you wish to print. Good for diagnostic purposes because of high intensity light and magnification up to 40-50X.
