Instructions for downloading PDF Versions of  Class Schedules into Palm OS.

1.  Obtained a  free Palm PDF viewer from the Adobe Acrobat site.

    -Follow the instructions for downloading the PDF viewer for the Palm OS. 

    -Activate the download file on your PC to install the program.

    -You will observe a Palm OS PDF icon on your desktop. 

    -Sync with your PDA and the PDF viewer will be installed on your hand-held device.

2.      Go to the web page with the class schedules.

3.    Save the PDF version to your desktop PC as a PDF file.  Choose the “save as” icon in the PDF window and not from the Internet Explorer icons.   Name the file and save this PDF file on your hard drive at C:/Program Files/Adobe/Adobe Reader for Palm OS or another directory of your choosing..

4.   Click on the Acrobat Reader for Palm on your desktop to open this program.  It will allow you to transfer any PDF files directly to the Palm hand-held device.

5     Click on add and locate the directory containing the PDF files.  Highlight the PDF files you wish transferred and they will appear ready to transfer in the Acrobat Reader transfer utility during the next sync with your PDA.

6.    Sync  to transfer files into your PDA.

   In the Palm device open the Acrobat PDF  viewer and you can select a PDF file you wish to view.    By pressing lightly with your stylus on the screen you'll be able to magnify the page.

   You can transfer any PDF files or the PDF viewer program from one Palm device to another by beaming the files.
