ATTENDANCE

• This course is a blend of lecture, video, Web material, and computer work. There is no substitute for being in class.
• There may be items on the exams that are covered only in lecture, not in the book or on-line notes.
• Attendance will be taken occasionally, several times during the term. One point will be subtracted from the student's overall average for each resulting recorded absence.
• Attendance is so important that the University allows instructors to drop students for poor attendance.  I am ready, willing, and able to do this.
