Use Excel to do the following. You may wish to use the facilities of the CBA MicroComputer Lab, L270 ECSW (northwest corner of Harrison and Morgan). If you use other installations of Excel, please refer to LBS, p. 34 to verify the installation of the Data Analysis tools.

Appropriately limit the number of decimal places in the various results.

  2. Use Excel's ANOVA: Single Factor-Data Analysis tool to analyze the data FILL-1.XLS. This will reproduce Figure 8.12.EXCEL, p. 428. Retain two decimals for sums and averages, four decimals for Variances and SS's (this was not consistently done in the table on p. 428), four for MS's, three for F, three for F crit .

Printout your spreadsheets, enter your name and Social Security Number, sign the sheets, and hand them in.
