DENNIS P. NEUMANN
Dennis P. Neumann was promoted to Chairman and CEO of the Bank of New York
Capital Funding LLC in July of 1995. BNY Capital Funding is the seventh largest
bank leasing company in the United States with assets of over $12.0 billion. It
contains four separate business lines which include large capital asset
tax-advantaged leveraged leasing, a single investor leasing company in
Colorado, asset-backed transportation lending and small ticket leasing.
In 1993 Mr. Neumann was promoted to Executive Vice President and Head of U,
S. Commercial Banking where his duties included membership on the Bank's
Corporate and Institutional Credit Committee as well as the Asset and Liability
Committee. Outside affiliations include Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors
of the of the Equipment Leasing Association (ELA), the first Chairman of the
large ticket Steering Committee of the ELA, member of the Business Advisory
Council of Northwestern University School of Transportation, member of
University of Illinois Business School/Business Advisory Council, and The Wings
Club of New York
Mr. Neumann joined The Bank of New York in 1989 as Senior Vice President and
President of BNY Capital Funding. Prior to joining the Bank, he was Managing
Director of First Chicago Leasing Corporation and a Director of Tiger Financial
Services, a subsidiary of North American Car Corporation and Tiger
International.
Mr. Neumann holds a Bachelor of Science from The University of Illinois and
a Masters of Management from the J. L, Kellogg School of Management at
Northwestern University.
