WELCOME TO THE MEDICAL PHARMACOLOGY WEB SITE

AT THIS SITE YOU WILL FIND MATERIALS FOR THE 2009/2010 MEDICAL PHARMACOLOGY COURSE

HOW TO USE THIS SITE:

From this page, you can link to pages containing general course information, course syllabi and schedules for Fall semester, study guides, or you can contact lecture faculty or the course director.  In order to follow these links, you must be logged on from a UIC i.p. address, or be logged on with a UIC netid.

PLEASE READ BELOW FIRST, BEFORE YOU LINK TO THE OTHER PAGES!

A NOTE ABOUT LECTURE HANDOUTS:

The primary purpose of this web site is to provide on-line access to lecture handouts.   The purpose of these handouts is to supplement and accompany the lectures.   They are not intended to contain all the information from the lectures, and they are not intended as an after-the-fact substitute for attending the lecture.  They are intended to assist students in assimilating and integrating facts and ideas from the lectures as they are presented, and to spare students from having to spend time during lectures copying down structures and diagrams.  YOU WILL NOT OBTAIN ALL OF THE LECTURE MATERIAL BY SIMPLY STUDYING THE HANDOUT.

To view the handout on-screen in PDF format, simply click on the PDF icon next to the corresponding lecture.  You will notice that every lecture does not have an icon next to it; that is because one handout may correspond to several consecutive lectures (example: the handout for lectures 1-8 may be obtained by clicking the icon next to lecture 1)

IMPORTANT:  If you need to install Adobe Reader In order to view or print out PDF files, CLICK HERE to obtain a free, self-installing copy. To obtain a printed copy of the handout, select "File", then "Print" on the Adobe toolbar

If you have any questions, or want to report any problems or suggestions, please contact the course director:
