Buffer capacity test:

Contained as part of the CRT bacteria package from Vivadent.

 This package also contains tests for determining mutans strep. and lactobacilli count in saliva.

Pipette saliva onto surface of the test strip covering the entire surface.

After 5 minutes compare color of test strip to color chart. Normal pH is 5-7, Low is pH 5 (orange).

Acuracy is only fair-by itself has limited use.
