Lesions may or may not be clinically visible in each of the following teeth showing a pit and fissure view.  Describe the treatment you would suggest for each condition using the current infectious disease model philosophy.

Using this model it is necessary to first assess caries activity and risk before determining treatment.

	Clinical observation shows no carious lesions in this tooth.  X-rays show:
		no lesion	lesion into dentin

	Clinical observation shows no carious lesions in this tooth  but deep staining is present. X-rays show:
	no lesion	lesion into dentin

	Clinical observation shows white spot lesion in this tooth. X-rays show:
	no lesion	lesion into dentin

	Clinical observation shows cavitated lesion in this tooth. X-rays show:
	lesion into dentin
