Why Study Biochemistry?

Here's a table to help explain how important basic biochemistry is to clinical practice. Many clinical tests and diagnostics depend on basic biochemistry; if you don't understand the biochem behind the test, you will probably have trouble giving an intelligent interpretation of the test results. Our course emphasizes "core" topics, but we also include several clinical applications.
