Patient is a 73-year-old retired plumber, and is a slightly obese white male (5' 8" ht/200 lb wt). Patient complains of awakening to urinate at night with increasing frequency_over the past 8 to 10 months. He is also experiencing hesitancy and a weak urine stream. The doctor prescribed Flomax™ (tamulosin)
Congratulations! Karen delivered a healthy baby girl, 7lbs and 7 oz, 19 and 3/4 inches long. Unfortunately, during the delivery, Karen’s bladder was traumatized and she couldn’t pee. She was catheterized and went home with the catheter in place, having been instructed in how to remove it. SO! she removed after a few days but she still couldn’t pee. SO! The doctor prescribed enough Flomax™ for three days until she went for a follow up visit
