| Study Questions: | Study questions on each reading assignment will be posted online. These are intended to help you to get the most out of these readings. You do not need to turn in your answers to study questions, although you might find it useful to write them out. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Requirements: | There will be two papers and two exams. Each paper will be 4-6 pages in length (typed) on assigned topics. The exams will include a range of question formats. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Grading: |
Each paper and each exam counts for 25% of the course grade. This calculation will yield course averages between two letter grades for approximately one quarter of the students in the class. In such cases, excellent class participation or other evidence of learning effort will yield the higher of the two grades. Beginning December 18, you can check on your fall course grades by login on to the UIC Student Access System or by calling the UIC Express. |
