1. When logging
in, you will be prompted for your FirstClass user name and password.
Your FirstClass user name is your UIC NetID — the portion of your
UIC e-mail address that comes before "@uic.edu." Initially,
your FirstClass password is the last 8 digits of your social security
number. Example:

To change your FirstClass password,
you must run the FirstClass client, which can be found in any of the
ACCC
Public Computer Labs on campus, or can be downloaded
free (it is also included in the UIC
NSKit). It is not possible to change your FirstClass password via
a web browser. To change your password using the FirstClass client:
1. Launch the FirstClass client and login.
2. From the Connection pull-down
menu in the Menu Bar choose "Change Password".
3. You will be asked to enter your
old password, and enter the password you want to change it to. A third
blank is provided so that you can verify that you typed your new password
correctly.
