Help!

1. Writing is hard. There are lots of resources available to aid you in this particular task.
2. Try the writing center they even have an online program. They really want to help by discussing drafts and even ideas. Take advantage of them.
3. Because writing philosophy papers is particularly hard and calls for a very specific kind of thinking you should feel free to ask me for help. You can email me or call me at the office. If my office hours are not convenient, you should feel free to try to make other arrangements.
4. Here's something you might not have thought of: you can help yourself a lot by talking in class. If you are uncomfortable talking in class for whatever reason, get over it. It won't hurt, and if it does, it will only hurt for a few seconds.
5. I don't understand the readings. I'm afraid I'm going to fall behind. Every week I'll provide outlines of my lectures. Just got to the Syllabus page and hit the link for the particular day.
6. I need to talk about my paper. Get in touch with me; we'll talk.
7. "But Jeanine," you say, "I have a specific problem. How does this corny help page help me?I need to get a hold of you really fast." I know you aren't in your office and I don't have access to a computer. Call this number: (773)604-8419 in case of an emergency.
